Have a look at the transformation that an existing MDF staircase undergoes when the old carpet is removed revealing the bare MDF treads and risers. We installed new solid 285mm x 32mm hardwood treads wrapped to the existing stair base. At the same time, we changed the bottom two steps to more modern design.

John did our upstairs floors with Jarrah timber in 2003. Inspite of years of use, they still look as good as new even now.
